Jason started swing dancing in 1997 and has been teaching around the Fraser Valley since 1998. In 2000 Jason suffered from a severe motorcycle accident that hindered his dancing ability. He quickly fought his way back to the dance floor and after a year and a half, is back teaching and enjoying dancing at Suburban Swing. His main activity has become to co-organize Suburban Swing events and to teach and DJ on the Sunday night dances.

 

In the past few years, Jason has been continuously extending his abilities by attending various workshops from LA to Vancouver. Some of the best instructors in North America provided training such as:
