Outdoor Ecstatic Dance Ft. Bettina Rothe

This event will take place outdoors in the Kitsilano area of Vancouver  (**location will be revealed on Wednesday evening, September 23rd by email after payment has been received**).

Dance 6-7:30 pm

You will be provided with high quality, over the ear, noise-canceling headsets provided by Silent Dj. SILENT DJ WILL BE ONSITE TO DISTRIBUTE AND SANITIZE HEADSETS ONSITE BEFORE AND AFTER THE EVENT.  These headsets will Live Stream Marcia’s DJ set in realtime at the event. The headsets can be adjusted for your preferred volume and will offer a surround sound experience from up to 100 meters away. This allows us to offer physical distancing, an opportunity to be fully immersed in nature, and to allow us to keep numbers down as there won’t be any joiners who aren’t part of our collective agreements onsite.

This event is strictly limited to 50 people which will include staff. Early bird tickets are $20 and are on sale until Sept 18th and then the tickets go up to $25. Sales will close at 2 pm on Sept 24th.  To attend, you MUST PAY IN ADVANCE ONLINE to reserve your spot and headset. Upon arrival, we will ask you for your government-issued ID as a deposit in exchange for the headsets.

COMMUNITY COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS

*As community members we are all responsible for holding the space. Please remember that this is a dry event. An opportunity to connect deeper into dance practice, music, nature, and community.

*Please, no talking on the dance floor. Folks are encouraged to move off to the side and take a break if they’d like to socialize during the dance.

*Please keep your cell phone use to a minimum. No cell phones on the dance floor and please ask for consent to take pictures.

********We are all responsible to adhere to the Health authority agreements of Covid-19 and we ask that you embrace these light agreements to keep us all safe.

*Please keep physical distance of 2ms apart with anyone who is not already in your bubble.

*Please sanitize or wash your hands if you cough or sneeze.

*hugs and handshakes will be substituted with smiles, waves, and dance!!!

Public Washrooms will be onsite for hand washing.

Street Parking is available about a 5min walk from the site.
