About the Event

COVID 2020 Dance with live music - The Lounge Hounds 

Tickets are online only. No drop-in tickets available.  Each ticket is for 2 people!  1 Ticket per couple.  $25 for 2 people!

September 20, 2020, we will run a safe and COVID friendly dance following the recommendations by Fraser Health and WorksafeBC. Only 42 dancers per dance (21 couples).  Masks are encouraged but optional. There will be ample space for you to dance with Social Distancing.

There will be 2 dances available. 

7pm - 830pm Dance lesson at 7 pm and doors open at 630pm.  

850pm - 10 pm without a lesson. 

Dancers have to come with a partner and there will be no rotation allowed. Each pair will be assigned a table and section to dance at. We need to adhere to social distancing and these rules if you want to dance and they will be strictly enforced. If you have any questions please contact us. 

We want this to be fun and safe. There are other dances in Canada running and have been successful. If you need to get your dance on, then join us on September 20, 2020.

At this time, all event organizers are ordered to limit all public gatherings larger than 50 people.

Anyone who has had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days must not attend.

Anyone under the direction of the provincial health officer to self-isolate must follow those instructions.

Anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada in the last 10 days must not attend.

Our Covid plan is as follows:  Only 50 people in the building max.

You must have pre-bought a ticket (there is no drop-ins accepted)

-Each ticket is for two people.  This will be for you and your partner and no rotation allowed at this time.

-Enter at the main door and you must maintain a distance of two meters from one another. The hall floor will be marked to assist you.

-Leaving the building at the designated exit on the east side of the building.

-Everyone must bring a mask and be wearing it upon arrival until you get to your designated area.

- Do Not Enter if you have traveled outside of Canada in the last 14 days, have had close contact with a confirm COVID19 infection or have symptoms of COVID-19, common cold, influenza or respiratory disease such as fever 38’, cough or- difficulty breathing. STAY HOME!

-When socializing, it is expected that you wear a mask.  You must maintain a distance of two meters from one another when standing or sitting unless you belong to the same party.

-Window and doors will be open for air movement.

-  designated tables provided will have no more than 4 people.

- There will be no snack bar, so it is encouraged that you bring your own nonalcohol drinks.

- handwashing facilities or alcohol-based sanitizers are within easy reach.

- At the end of the dance high touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized.

- washroom facilities with running water, soap, and a sanitary means for drying hands for handwashing purposes, or hand sanitation supplies, are available.

Let's see how this goes.  If we make this work, then other options will be put into place with Health consultation.

Overall let's have fun!  This is a start for us to try to get going what we love.  Come only if you want to have fun and can follow the guidelines.
