Jason's interest in photography began in high school, becoming one of the main photographers for his school yearbook. He later purchased his own camera and practiced on friends and family. Everywhere he was his camera was as well. His first wedding was in 1995 in Edmonton Alberta. It turned out that he had a talent to produce quality photos. From that point on he was being booked with wedding parties regularly. His passion and personality, along with his eye for capturing the candid shot, was the draw most people where looking for when hiring a wedding photographer.
Though most of his skills are self taught, Jason has attended UCFV and Focal Point for specific courses to expand his knowledge base. His preferred style is that of natural light, out doors, candid expressions. If one is looking for organized, fun, and flexible, then Jason is who you want to work with.

Jason is also a capable dance instructor (www.suburbanswing.com) and has owned and operated his own dance club for over 10 years. Along with this talent comes his skill as a highly entertaining DJ. He and his wife Crystal have been involved in dozens of instructional sessions with couples wanting to look wonderful for their wedding day. His DJing experience includes weddings, corporate events, university events, and home parties.
