Beginner Lindy Hop

Ladies Styling for all Swing:

Tessa has been teaching Ladies Styling since before the PussyCat Dolls! Are you happy with your Swing progress but feel like you are ready for a challenge? Ready to express yourself and use your feet/arms/body more? Ready to go beyond the basics no matter who you are dancing with? Tessa will walk you through a progression of skills and styling tips you can incorporate immediately into your social dancing. Each class also includes a short fun combo you can practice at home to work on your new skills. The focus is on FEMININE movement, not generic vintage jazz steps, and will include styling for East Coast, Lindy, WCS, and a little bit of nightclub grooving!.
Last class is on Monday July 26, from 7-8pm @ Jason & Crystals.

West Coast Swing Series:
(Myles & Tessa are currently at the Toronto Open Swing Dance Championships, so no class on July 25. The last class of the series will be on August 1.)
There was so much interest in WCS after Swing Summit, let's try to continue the momentum! West Coast Swing is a brilliant addition to your Swing repertoire - it allows you do dance to those straight-time Pop songs as well as medium/slow Blues without the grinding! WCS also invites LOTS of opportunities for followers to play, and for leaders to invent and create their own moves. Tessa will reinforce basic skills and teach a progression of pattern and styling building blocks guaranteed to get you having fun fast. Students must be competent in their basics of at least one Swing dance (Lindy, ECS or WCS).
Class starts on Sunday July 4th, from 6-7 at ASA. This will be a 4 week class for all of July. Only $40 per person (works out to only $10 a class).
