Afonso is one of the only original Swing dancers left on the floor from the late 1990's. He has been working with Suburban Swing from the very beginning. He has left a permanent mark in the swing community both on the dance floor and in many many of the dancers lives. Al is one of the most loved individuals in Western Canada and continues to teach and perform around the lower mainland.
